| TheZIP Converter application was designed to recompress the PKZip ZIP archive with version 2.04 the new maximum compression algorithms. It can be run on a single file or all files on the SAR & Scaroni, u ZIP directory each time it is run. It can be used for both hard drives and floppy disks. The program determines version of the ZIP file and the method by which it was created. Therefore, you can use the switch to 2:04 1.x format zips or recompress all the documents that were not toxic to 2:04 maximum compression. old documents unzipped and D variant (keeping subdirectories). New documents are created -rp (restore subdirectories), o (to set the archive date on the latest case, except ZIPCVT run and switch D) and -ex (maximum compression) options (see PKZip archive information).
